The British Psychological Society is reported here to hold "no official opinion" regarding the
Cyril Burt case.

Burt's supporters want the society to reconsider all the evidence in the Burt case for, supporters
feel, Burt should be rehabilitated. Retired child psychologist Bill Wall has been leading the
effort. Other supporters include Robert Joynson, author of a book which sought to exonerate
Burt.

Although the case against Burt has been found to be flawed in some particulars (the assistants
may, in fact, have existed), there is no doubt that many psychologists regard Buret's data to be
flawed.

The controversy surrounding Burt continues.
