other notes in Scifraud. The Big Name scientist is mentioned in this article in terms of the salary
he is paid: $793,750 per year as the director of Sloan-Kettering. Then too, the director of Mount
Sinai Medical Center, John W. Rowe, is paid $900,079 a year. Big Science pays well. For that
kind of money, people might be tempted to cut a few corners.
