Anderson, Christopher. "New Evidence Emerges in Tufts Misconduct Case," Nature 347 (27
September 1990), p. 317.
Here is a report to Nature's readers of the Secret Services continuing investigation of Thereza
Imanishi-Kari's notebooks. Of course, some of this emerged at the Dingell hearings but this is
later stuff: Imanishi-Kari may, this paper suggests, in fact be guilty of fraud. This paper has it that
she may also be guilty of perjury before Congress. They may now refer this whole matter to the
Department of Justice.
Imanishi-Kari is quoted here: "‘If OSI reaches the conclusion that there was misconduct on my
part, then you have to conclude that MIT covered up and Tufts covered up," says Imanishi-Kari."
