Benefits of Apostola
With its scientific names cassia nodosa and cassia bacillus, this plant is also known as the Palawan cherry, pink shower, and pink0and0white shower in English. Apostola is indigenous in the Eastern Himalayas through the Malay Peninsula but is cultivated here in the Philippines mostly in gardens.
Apostola leaves and flowers are consumable. Studies conducted to test this plant revealed that it is hypoglycemic, nodososide, antifertility, antioxidant, amd antimicrobial.
